Driplines & Drippers

Driplines are pipes with evenly spaced drippers seamlessly welded inside. Drippers are the emitters that deliver mixtures of water and nutrients directly, in measured quantities and at regulated pressures, to each individual plant.

If plants are distributed evenly across your field, orchard or greenhouse, you’ll mostly rely on driplines to irrigate and fertigate. But if plants have irregular spacing, you’ll likely need to place individual online drippers to make sure every plant has water and nutrients delivered directly to its root zone.

Pressure-compensated (PC) drippers are designed for steep and varied topographies or for very long fields. Whatever the pressure, these drippers maintain a consistent flow rate. Non-pressure compensated drippers are ideal for flat topographies, or shorter crop rows.

The thicker (heavier) the dripperline, the more resistant it will be to external damage or system pressure. Heavy wall dripperlines offer the greatest resistance to physical damages and will system operation under a wider range of pressures.

Thin wall dripperlines are better suited for retrieval every few years, or even every crop cycle. These dripperlines  are also less expensive and replacing it doesn’t come at a huge cost.

Medium wall dripperlines sit somewhere in between, offering a balance between cost and longevity.
