Watch: Water Movement in Soil and Dripper Spacing Selection

Jovan Erasmus, Agronomist at Netafim Southern & East Africa, recently presented a webinar on understanding water movement in soil and how it affects dripper spacing selection. He delved into soil texture, soil structure, water content, distribution in the soil, shared a few case studies and discussed how we combine all this information to decide on our dripper spacing and delivery rates during irrigation system planning.

“What affects the movement of the water in the soil? As you know soil is a complex system, there's a lot going on in there so we're going to dive into the soil texture, structure, classification, chemistry, organic matter, water content and water quality,” he kicked of the section on understanding water movement in soil.
